I have been using the La Mer skincare line for almost two years. While I love the way my skin feels after using this cleanser, the price has increased as of recent and the quality has lowered. The formula seems more watery than before and the packaging is cheap. My cap no longer screws on correctly and I have about 1/3 of the bottle left. Every time I unscrew the cap there is a ton of leaked formula in the inside of the cap.

The packaging really cheapens this product. I shudder to think what is going to happen when I attempt to travel with this cleanser.

 I am a fan of the cleansing foam but thise new re-packaged formula does not foam up on my face like the previous discontinued formula. I liked the fact that the previous formula only needed a very small amount and still cover the face with foam and leaving it feeling squeeky clean. This one, however, seems to need more amount to get nearly the same effect.

 I have been using Cleansing Foam for years very good product, but this new packaging is so uncomfortable. I usually never write comments about any products if i like it or not, but this time i just couldnt help it!

I have tried almost everything, from oral/topical meds to over the counter to on line products to help my cystic acne. I am 39 - never had acne as a young person - and all of the sudden I have under the skin painful bumps that easily became infected (cuz I pick!!!). I saw this product in a People magazine - I have seen hundreds products and thought "maybe I shoul try it" but NEVER did - until now, and boy am I glad I did! This face wash pulls the deep black/white heads out and sooths at the same time, leaving a even toned finish. VERY pleased!

I've used this cleanser and a wide array of other La Mer products for over two years now. I have been very pleased with the results as I feel that my skin has a nice softness to it and age related lines are less obvious, especially between the eyebrows. However, and maybe it's just my imagination, but something is off about the cleanser lately; I noticed the difference when La Mer introduced the new packaging (and price increase). The foam just feels liquidy and does not feel as good upon my skin. I have some of the older product in my gym locker and I do feel a difference when I use that bottle instead of my newer one. Plus, the old slimmer container was far easier to handle, pack, store, etc. I wish corporations would refrain from fixing what is not broken.

La Mer's Foaming Cleanser the world's Best Cleanser I ever used! My face totally loves how it feels,how it cleanses, and I love the fresh scent. My skin is happy,I am happy. Tried atleast 100 cleansers in my young life time,and I know this is the World's best Cleanser.
